The all-new 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo is a short-wheelbase crossover that feels relatively nimble and peppy. Its suspension is designed for a comfortable ride even though it comes in a sporty package.
Minimal options are offered to this loaded car. The Navigation Package has a 5-inch color touch-screen monitor that includes a rear view monitor, six upgraded speakers, NavTraffic, Rockford Fosgate ecoPUNCH™ audio system with 8-inch subwoofer and amplifier and USB port for IPOD®. It comes with a price tag of $1,170.
The interior illumination package is $500 and offers body color details inside the vehicle.
Behind the wheel, new seats with more bolstering, finished in cloth and suede, were comfortable and easy to get out of. The seatbacks are embroidered with the Nismo logo, which also appears on the center console. The tachometer gets a red hue, making it easily visible through the spokes of the special Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a centering marker for the serious driver.
Nissan lowered the aerodynamic profile, tuned the steering, and dropped the suspension. They also equipped the Juke with summer performance tires and 18″ rims. It was all part of the effort to make this vehicle even more fun to drive.
The Nismo stands out in the crowd with LED accent lights, a rear spoiler and red details.
The NISMO version joins the base S, SV and up level SL versions of the Juke.
