My test drive in the Range Rover Evoque was from the water to the mountains of Vancouver, Canada. The 5-seater SUV was a nice combination of urban driving ability and country off-road agility, and still had that Land Rover feel.

The Evoque will attract new, younger drivers that are looking to do everything in their vehicles from sea to sky.

This Range Rover offers you a complete range of driving conditions and the ability to master them, including your daily drive, dynamic driving (which changes the gauges to red), snow, mud, sand and rough rocky terrain.
The Terrain Response System included hill decent, which adjusts the engine as well as gearbox and chassis systems with EPAS to optimize drivability and maximize traction on any off-road condition. You can even wade through as much as 19.7″ of water with a 25-degree angle. Also on the Evoque is Magna Ride, which monitors 1000 times per second to optimize control for each type of surface. The new design shocks can change dampening up to 50 times per second and gives you sporting character without sacrificing comfort and better control.

Standard equipment:

• Rear camera with hitch assist
• Leather seats
• Panoramic roof
• Meridian audio systems, 380Watts with 11 speakers and a sub woofer

Likes:

• Distinctive design
• Luxury leather interior in all models
• Meridian Sound System

Dislikes:

• No rear heat seats
• Needs more cup holders
• Some blind spots due to body design.

The Range Rover Evoque is a great mix of performance, style, luxury and off-road capabilities.
